The MAC Learning Center has openings!
MAC Learning Center is currently a Keystone STAR 4 DHS licensed Pre-K Counts program. This program is FREE to those that qualify. The program is operates Monday through Friday and serves children ages 3-5. Breakfast, lunch, and snack are provided.
We offer high quality preschool programming aligned to the PA Early Learning Standards. The MAC Learning Center coordinates with Mount Aloysius for Work Study and other students to offer various experiences through observation and practice.
America Reads
The MAC Learning Center collaborates with Mount Aloysius College to offer essential learning experiences for MAC students.
The America Reads Challenge is an initiative started in 1996 by the Clinton Administration. In August 1996, President Clinton proposed a national literacy campaign that would enlist “one million volunteer tutors ready and able to give children the personal attention they need to catch up and get ahead.” The MAC Learning Center participates in the America Reads Program as a part of its daily/weekly curriculum.
